Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was big, comfortable and beautiful. We could see the see. Had a pool and the best part was our hosts. Angie and Jonathan were amazing. Super nice and friendly. Gave us great recommendations. Will definitely come back.
Hotel Yam is located right in the centre of everything, which for a solo traveller like myself was super helpful and reassuring! It's up a steep side slope and stairs which can be dark at night, but it also means the views are great! The hotel staff are really lovely and very attentive if you message them on WhatsApp. My room was lovely and clean, with its own plunge pool and it's own kitchen - the hotel is definitely set in beautiful surroundings. I did have an issue with the key to the door - it would get stuck on unlocking and locking, which I found difficult and a bit of a safety issue. I was reassured though that there's always someone from the hotel around to help. Also, the windows in the bathroom didn't have blinds and looked into other people's rooms - although the hotel staff did kindly add an external curtain to help cover these up when I asked. All in all, it was a lovely stay and I would stay again if I was back in beautiful Mazunte!
We had an amazing time, at first our room had a problem with the air conditioning, but the team quickly helped us move into another room which made us feel comfortable and was great, so great we extended our stay!
I can’t recommend this place enough- it is so beautiful, aesthetic and spacious. It is such a great value for money, the service was very nice, professsional yet discreet. Very good location also.
Perfect location, just off the main street, which means it’s very quiet, but also so close to everything. The rooms are comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I had one of the rooms downstairs with a tiny pool which was perfect to cool off on days where the weather was not beach-appropriate. Daily housekeeping made sure it was extremely clean. A joy to come back to at the end of a day well-spent (or even during the day as a matter of fact, since Mazunte is really small) to take naps or change before going out again.
We had such a fantastic stay here! The place itself is beautiful and very comfortable, but what really made the experience special were the amazing people. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which created such a positive atmosphere. The location couldn’t be more perfect.. close to everything I needed while still feeling relaxed and peaceful. I truly felt at home and would love to return. Highly recommended!
Quite possibly my favorite hotel in Mexico. Outside looks can be deceiving but the modern rooms and individual private pools are amazing. We want to come back to Mazunte purely to stay again with our hosts there. Loved it......
We booked a last minute stay here and cant wait to go back. Firstly the Host was so warm and welcoming, the location is perfect, tucked just off the street so its quiet but you have direct access to all the bars and stuff. The room itself is perfect, very nicely decorated and the bed was very comfy, TV is great, terrace to enjoy the sunset... what more do you want!
